Positive Pay

Positive Pay is an automated fraud detection tool offered within Cash Manager. In its simplest form, it is a system that matches the account number, check number, and dollar amount of each check presented for payment against a list of checks previously authorized and issued by the customer.  The customer uploads a file with the details of the checks issued in Cash Manager and makes decisions on any items that are exceptions between the checks being presented for payment and the issued check files.  Based on the exception decision entered, the Bank will either pay or return the check.

    • 2.0 GHz processor or higher
    • Microsoft Windows 7, 8.1 or 10
    • 2 GB RAM minimum
    • 2 GB free disk space
    • 1024 x 768 display resolution.
    • USB 2.0 port for scanner.
  • Internet Explorer 11; Google Chrome; Mozilla Firefox; Microsoft Edge
    • Do not install EZ Deposit on Internet Explorer 64-bit browser, use the 32-bit.
  • Internet Connection: 512 Kb minimum.
  • User must have Administrative Rights to the local PC for the install.
  • Anti-virus must be disabled for the install.
  • All Window Updates marked ‘Critical’ should be downloaded & installed.

IMPORTANT: Scanner manufacturer recommends scanner connected directly to the USB Port on the back of the computer, not via USB hub or port replicator. Recommended distance between the scanner and from any other electronic device, including the PC monitor should be 12-inches.
